1SVR011718R2500 belongs to ABB CC-E series signal isolator with model CC-E I/I. It is a fixed-range analog isolation module designed for 4-20mA current signal isolation and transmission between field instruments and DCS/PLC control system. 1SVR is unified part number prefix for ABB signal conditioning components. 011718 is base hardware code for CC-E I/I current isolator. The module requires DC24V auxiliary power supply with built-in power indicator LED. Input range is fixed 4~20mA DC and output range is fixed 4~20mA DC. Three independent screw terminal blocks on front panel are separately for auxiliary power wiring, field input signal wiring and control side output wiring. Provide galvanic isolation between field transmitter loop and backend control system to eliminate ground loop interference. Block transient surge from field side to protect DCS analog input modules, and realize stable one-to-one 4-20mA signal transmission without signal loss.

The isolator is installed inside control cabinets of chemical industry, thermal power plant, metallurgy and municipal water treatment facilities. It is matched with temperature, pressure and flow transmitters to isolate analog signals before connecting to S500 series or other DCS analog input modules.

Cut off DC24V power supply before wiring or module replacement and wait for residual voltage discharge. Perform semi-annual maintenance to clear dust on module and terminals with dry low-pressure compressed air and retighten loose terminal screws regularly. If output signal is abnormal, inspect field instrument and loop wiring condition before replacing the isolator.
