RELIANCE 613440-5E DC tachometer generator

613440-5E is a DC tachometer generator developed by Reliance Electric, belonging to the classic 613440 series speed feedback component matched with FlexPak DC variable speed drive system. It converts real-time mechanical rotating speed of DC drive motor into stable analog DC voltage signal and feeds back speed data to drive main control board for closed-loop speed regulation. The original manufacturer has discontinued formal production, existing available products in the market include surplus new original stock and factory calibrated refurbished units, mainly used for maintenance replacement of outdated metallurgy, papermaking and mining production line drive equipment.

Description

Product Introduction

Model Definition

The numerical code 613440 stands for unified platform serial number of Reliance standard DC tachometer product, fixing basic mechanical structure and internal coil winding specification of this whole product series. Middle digit 5 represents fixed internal circuit and output voltage grade of sub-series product. Suffix E stands for upgraded optimized version, with improved internal insulation material and anti-vibration structural design compared with base versions such as 5A,5B,5F, keeping complete mechanical interchangeability with other models of same serial code without mounting bracket modification.

Technical Specifications

Rated standard output voltage is 90VDC at rated rotating speed of 1800RPM, maximum allowable continuous operating rotating speed reaches 5000RPM. Continuous working ambient temperature ranges from -20℃ to +70℃, short-term transient working temperature covers -35℃ to +85℃, storage temperature is -40℃ to +90℃ under dry non-corrosive environment. Working ambient relative humidity is 5%~90% without condensation. Internal winding insulation withstand voltage can bear 1000VAC one-minute insulation test. Standard mounting mode adopts flange fixed installation, overall weight conforms to industrial tachometer standard specification of Reliance original factory.

Interface and Communication Configuration

Equipped with two-core fixed wiring terminal as signal output interface, no built-in digital bus communication chip or RS485 interface. Output analog DC speed signal is transmitted to drive control cabinet through shielded hard wire directly, without plug-in backplane docking structure. Built-in independent lead wire outgoing terminal structure, internal lead wire is pre-fixed inside casing to avoid loose wire caused by long-term equipment vibration.

Core Functions

Real-time collection of motor actual rotating speed through shaft synchronous rotation, convert mechanical rotational quantity into proportional DC analog voltage signal via internal permanent magnet coil structure. Transmit standardized speed feedback signal to drive main control board to realize closed-loop speed adjustment of DC motor, cooperate with main controller to correct rotating speed deviation caused by load fluctuation. Internal built-in surge absorption circuit restrains instantaneous voltage spike generated by sudden speed change, stabilize output feedback voltage and prevent abnormal speed regulation fault of matched drive equipment.

Application Scenarios

Special supporting part for Reliance FlexPak series all specifications DC speed regulating drives and matched DC driving motors. Widely applied in speed closed-loop control of metallurgical rolling mill main transmission equipment, papermaking dryer roller drive system, chemical large pump and fan DC speed control cabinet, as well as spare replacement for old textile machinery, mining conveyor and printing equipment original Reliance drive control system.

Operation and Maintenance Instructions

Cut off total power supply of matched drive cabinet and wait for more than 20 minutes to release residual electric charge before disassembly and installation work. Ensure coaxial connection between tachometer rotating shaft and motor output shaft is concentric to avoid eccentric wear and abnormal output signal distortion. Prevent severe impact and long-term high-frequency vibration during equipment operation to avoid internal coil lead breakage. Implement annual routine maintenance, clean casing surface accumulated dust and check wiring terminal aging and fastening status regularly. Internal coil disassembly is forbidden arbitrarily; whole machine replacement shall be carried out after eliminating external wiring and installation fault when internal circuit failure occurs.
