TC-CCR014 | Honeywell Experion PKS C Series ControlNet Communication Card
Description
Model Explanation
TC = Series I/O Card of C series; CCR = ControlNet Redundant Communication; 014 = Hardware Version Number, Original Equipment Part Number 97197975-A01. Technical Specifications
Power Supply: The 24VDC power is taken from the controller rack, with a maximum power consumption of 4.2W;
Communication Rate: The ControlNet standard has a 5Mbps bus rate;
Interfaces: A single-channel coaxial ControlNet interface + internal bus of the backplane;
Isolation: Electrical isolation of the communication side from the backplane at 1500VAC;
Operating Environment: -20℃ to +70℃, humidity 5% to 90% without condensation; net weight approximately 380g; UL and CE industrial certifications.
Interface and Communication Configuration
Panel: Three-color LED indicators for operation, fault, and bus communication status;
Backplane: European-style gold finger plug-in C200/C300 local rack backplane, interacting with controller data through the internal system bus;
External: BNC coaxial terminals for connecting ControlNet bus cables, connecting each remote CIOM rack in series;
Networking: Single-card networking, paired configuration to achieve ControlNet dual-network redundant architecture.
Core Functions
ControlNet data transfer between the controller and the remote CIOM I/O rack;
Bus fault diagnosis, short circuit and open circuit alarm uploaded to the controller;
Automatic switching of redundant links in case of bus link failure to ensure uninterrupted I/O;
Support for hot plugging of racks while powered on, and automatic synchronization of configuration after replacement. Applicable scenarios
Petrochemical refining and chemical production PKS remote I/O cabinet networking, power plant boiler DCS remote I/O expansion, coal chemical plant multi-rack distributed I/O system.
Operation and maintenance instructions
Select dedicated ControlNet shielded coaxial cable for coaxial cables, tighten BNC connectors; add 75Ω terminal resistors at both ends of the bus terminal; prohibit hot-plugging of coaxial BNC connections; conduct annual inspection of bus attenuation value.
