Description

1. Product Overview

SGMG-09A2ACS belongs to Yaskawa Sigma-I medium inertia AC servo motor with rated output power of 850W, designed to match SGDB-10AD series 200V-class SERVOPACK driver. This motor is fitted with 8192PPR incremental encoder, no built-in electromagnetic holding brake, standard keyed straight output shaft with 1:10 taper structure, adopting flange mounting and IP55 enclosure protection grade for general automation equipment, CNC machine feed axis and positioning equipment applications.

2. Electrical and Mechanical Core Parameters

Rated input is three-phase AC200V, rated working current is 7.1A, rated rotation speed is 1500 revolutions per minute, continuous rated torque reaches 5.39N·m, and maximum instantaneous overload torque can reach three times the rated torque value. Rotor inertia is 3.92×10⁻⁴ kg·m², the maximum permissible connected load inertia shall not exceed 15 times of motor rotor inertia, the highest no-load rotating speed is 3000rpm. Winding insulation complies with Class F standard, withstanding AC1500V insulation voltage for one minute test and insulation resistance higher than 10MΩ under DC500V test condition. The net weight of the servo motor is approximately 5.2 kilograms.

3. Working Environment Requirement

Allowable working ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to +40℃, storage temperature covers -20℃ to +85℃, applicable relative humidity is 20%~80%RH without condensation on motor body and internal components. Keep installation location away from corrosive gas, oil mist, continuous water splash and excessive dust accumulation; avoid usage under altitude over 1000 meters without derating operation.

4. Connector Wiring Definition

4.1 Main Power Connector CN1

Terminals U, V, W connect three-phase main winding power supply, PE terminal is dedicated protective earth connection point for motor housing grounding to eliminate leakage risk.

4.2 Encoder 20Pin Connector CN2

Differential A and /A, B and /B, Z and /Z are respectively phase A, phase B and origin Z pulse signals from internal incremental encoder. +5V and 0V pins supply operating power for encoder unit, FG pin is shielding ground for encoder cable shielding layer connection. Shielded twisted dedicated servo cable is mandatory for encoder wiring; keep power cable and encoder cable separated over 30 centimeters to prevent electromagnetic interference and signal disorder.

5. Installation Instruction

Cut off all power supply completely before any mounting work, wear anti-static wristband to avoid static damage to precision encoder components inside motor. Fasten motor flange via four standard mounting bolts with uniform tightening torque, guarantee concentricity between motor output shaft and driven load shaft to prevent eccentric wear, abnormal vibration and shaft overload damage during operation. After mechanical fixing finished, complete power and encoder wiring strictly following terminal definition, ensure reliable grounding of PE and FG terminals before power-on commissioning.

6. Daily Maintenance & Safety Specification

Inspect cable aging degree and terminal tightening status every six months under power-off state, clean surface dust with dry compressed air regularly. Stop equipment operation immediately once abnormal noise, excessive vibration or overheating appears during running process. Only certified professional technicians can perform wiring, disassembly and overhaul work; live wiring operation is strictly prohibited to avoid electric shock and fire hazard. Arbitrary modification of internal winding circuit or replacement of non-original spare parts will invalidate official product warranty from Yaskawa.
