Description

1. Model Code Description

SGMAH refers to Yaskawa Sigma-II medium inertia AC servo motor series. The number 02 stands for rated power of 200W, the first A means single or three-phase AC200V rated working voltage, the second A represents standard winding specification without customized voltage, and the third A is equipped with 13-bit serial incremental encoder. Digit 6 defines double separate military-style connectors for power cable and encoder cable respectively instead of standard integrated plug, digit 1 means no built-in holding brake, and suffix D denotes special factory customized specification mainly for DeviceNet matching application.

2. Electrical Performance

This 200W servo motor is designed for AC200V power supply system with rated continuous working current of 2.1A, rated continuous torque reaching 0.637N·m and short-time peak torque three times the rated value to satisfy rapid acceleration and heavy load startup requirement. Its rated rotating speed is 3000rpm and maximum permissible operating speed is also limited at 3000rpm. The built-in 13-bit incremental serial encoder provides high-precision position feedback with 2048 pulses per mechanical rotation, and the motor winding conforms to Class B insulation standard with reliable dielectric performance.

3. Mechanical Structure

It adopts standard 60mm square flange installation dimension, fitted with 14mm diameter output shaft with standard flat keyway for coupling connection. Two independent round aviation plugs are separately arranged on motor casing for power line and encoder line wiring, different from ordinary single connector structure of standard SGMAH-02AAA21 model. The fully enclosed motor housing achieves IP54 protection grade with natural air cooling mode without auxiliary cooling fan, and the net weight of the whole motor is approximately 1.15kg.

4. Working Environment Parameter

Normal continuous operation ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to +40℃, while spare storage temperature covers -20℃ to +85℃ under power-off state. Working surrounding relative humidity should be kept between 20% and 80% without condensation phenomenon, and the installation site needs to avoid corrosive gas, oil mist and dense dust environment. Derated power operation is required when mounting altitude exceeds 1000 meters above sea level.

5. Matched Servo Drive & Application Scope

The matching servo driver is SGDM-02ADA series Sigma-II amplifier, and model with D suffix is specially compatible with DeviceNet bus-type drive for distributed network control system. This motor is widely used for precision feeding axis of labeling equipment, desktop dispensing machine, small PCB automation equipment and miniature indexing positioning fixture in automatic production lines, featuring stable low-speed running, low vibration and excellent instantaneous overload resistance.

6. Product Feature

Thanks to low rotor inertia design of Sigma-II platform, the motor realizes fast acceleration response and short positioning settling time, and split dual-connector structure brings convenience for field wiring and later cable maintenance replacement compared with ordinary integrated connector versionYaskawa.
