SGDM-20AD is a 2.0kW universal AC servo driver of Yaskawa Sigma-II series.

Matching motors: SGMAH-20A, SGMPH-20A series 2.0kW servo motors with standard 20-bit serial incremental encoder.

Main input: Single or three-phase AC200~230V, 50/60Hz; rated input current 13.0A.Three-phase output voltage 0~230V, output frequency 0~300Hz; continuous rated output current 15.2A, 300% short-time overload capacity for starting impulse load.Control power is supplied from main circuit without separate external DC24V power. Passive natural cooling design, protection grade IP10, net weight around 3.1kg. CN2 encoder port supports incremental encoder and optional battery-backed absolute encoder.

CN1 control connector receives differential/open-collector pulse for position instruction (max input frequency 500kpps, programmable electronic gear ratio) and ±10VDC analog signal for speed/torque command, together with multiple digital input/output for servo enable, alarm output and limit signals.CN2 is dedicated for motor encoder feedback wiring to realize closed-loop position control.CN3 RS232 communication port connects SigmaWin software for parameter setting, auto gain tuning and real-time operation monitoring.Built-in full protection including overcurrent, undervoltage, overvoltage, overload, encoder disconnection and overheat protection; fault codes display on front LED panel and lock until power reset. Auto motor parameter identification and mechanical vibration suppression functions are integrated inside.

Operating temperature 0°C~+55°C, storage temperature -20°C~+85°C, relative humidity ≤90%RH non-condensing, away from corrosive gas and dust. Mount vertically with minimum 30mm upper/lower clearance for heat dissipation. Separate power cable and shielded signal cable during wiring with single-end grounding of shielding layer.
