SGDE-03BP

SGDE-03BP is a 300W compact AC servo drive belonging to Yaskawa SGDE small servo series. Based on standard SGDE-03B platform, suffix BP indicates factory customized digital I/O definition and exclusive encoder interface configuration different from standard specification. It matches corresponding 0.3kW Yaskawa permanent magnet synchronous servo motor, designed for compact-size precision automation equipment with limited installation space, featuring compact outline, natural cooling and stable motion control performance.

Description

1. Product Overview

SGDE-03BP is a 300W compact AC servo drive belonging to Yaskawa SGDE small servo series. Based on standard SGDE-03B platform, suffix BP indicates factory customized digital I/O definition and exclusive encoder interface configuration different from standard specification. It matches corresponding 0.3kW Yaskawa permanent magnet synchronous servo motor, designed for compact-size precision automation equipment with limited installation space, featuring compact outline, natural cooling and stable motion control performance.

2. Electrical Specification

2.1 Power Rating

  • Rated matching motor power: 0.3kW

  • Input supply: Single-phase AC 200V~230V, 50Hz/60Hz

  • Internal DC bus working range: 280VDC~330VDC

  • Three-phase adjustable output voltage: 0~230VAC, output current matched for 300W servo motor rated operation

  • Cooling method: Natural convection cooling via housing heat sink without built-in fan

2.2 Environmental Conditions

  • Operating ambient temperature: 0℃ ~ +55℃; storage temperature: -20℃ ~ +70℃

  • Relative humidity ≤90%RH, no condensation; avoid corrosive gas, combustible dust and liquid splash at installation site

  • Permissible operating vibration: 10~55Hz, acceleration ≤0.5G

2.3 Control Performance

  • Three switchable control modes: Position control, speed control, torque control, selected by internal parameter setup

  • Command input: Pulse train for position instruction; ±10VDC analog signal for speed and torque setting

  • Incremental encoder compatible; BP custom specification revises partial connector pin assignment per factory requirement

  • Built-in auto-tuning function: Automatically detect motor resistance, inductance and encoder offset to optimize servo gain automatically

3. BP Customized Description

BP is non-standard customized option: partial digital input/output terminal functions are redefined, some exclusive function parameters are not listed in standard SGDE-03B manual. Wiring and parameter commissioning must refer to factory supplementary document instead of general standard specification.

4. Installation Instruction

Mount drive vertically on solid metal mounting plate. Reserve heat dissipation clearance: top and bottom ≥30mm, left and right ≥20mm. Keep away from heat source and direct sunlight, fasten fixing screws tightly to prevent loosening caused by equipment vibration. Separate power cables and control signal cables during wiring layout to reduce electromagnetic interference; control and encoder wires adopt shielded twisted pair cable, and reliably connect PE ground terminal to equipment grounding bus.

5. Wiring & Commissioning

Cut off input power and wait more than 15 minutes for internal high-voltage capacitor complete discharge before opening cover for wiring or maintenance to prevent high voltage electric shock. Finish all motor power, encoder and control wiring and verify against BP custom specification before power-on. Execute no-load motor auto-tuning after power-on before formal loaded running. Real-time running data including DC bus voltage, internal temperature and fault codes can be viewed on front panel or via upper computer debugging software.

6. Fault Diagnosis

  • Overcurrent alarm: Check motor cable short circuit or motor winding damage after power cut off.

  • Overvoltage alarm: Caused by input voltage surge or high inertia quick braking; add external braking resistor if necessary.

  • Overheat alarm: Result from blocked heat sink or continuous overload; clean dust and reduce load.

  • Encoder fault: Inspect broken wire, loose connector and BP customized pin wiring.

Clear fault by power reset after eliminating fault source; arrange professional repair if same fault recurs repeatedly.

7. Daily Maintenance

Clean dust on housing every 3~6 months according to field environment; regularly tighten loose terminal screws. For long-term storage in dry sealed space, perform 30 minutes no-load power-on test before commissioning when storage exceeds 12 months.

8. Application Range

Small precision indexing equipment, miniature feeding mechanism, testing instrumentation, tiny packaging machine and compact automated assembly equipment requiring customized I/O defined by BP option.
