SGDC-05AJAY16 is OEM customized 0.5kW compact servo amplifier from discontinued Yaskawa Sigma-I SGDC series, specially tailored for small precision automation, miniature injection and precision CNC peripheral equipment; most available stock is used/refurbished spare part for old production line maintenance.
  • SGDC: Compact small-power Sigma-I SERVOPACK series code (DC bus input structure different from AC-powered SGDB series)

  • 05: Rated 0.5kW output power specification

  • A: Standard pulse + analog dual control hardware base

  • J: Special internal power circuit modification for OEM DC input matching

  • Y: Factory customized modification including revised CN1 I/O pin definition, optimized built-in braking circuit

  • 16: Exclusive locked customized firmware revision, factory pre-set fixed parameters matching designated host controller, unique setting different from standard SGDC-05AJA generic model.

Matching Servo Motor: SGMG-05A2AB series 0.5kW, 200V-class Sigma-I servo motor, compatible with 8192P/R incremental encoder or battery-backed absolute encoder.

  3. MECHATROLINK-I PCB footprint reserved onboard, bus communication function permanently disabled by Y16 firmware and cannot be unlocked

  • Standard universal SGDC-05AJA cannot directly replace SGDC-05AJAY16 due to unique Y16 firmware I/O mapping, braking parameter and closed-loop gain; complete parameter rewrite and wiring modification are mandatory for cross-model substitution.

  • Core Application: Small precision injection molding auxiliary axis, miniature CNC feeder and compact automated assembly equipment.
