1. Product Overview

SGDB-15ADG-P is a customized 1.5kW AC servo amplifier of Yaskawa Sigma-II series. 2. Electrical Specifications

Main circuit accepts single-phase or three-phase AC200~230V input at 50/60Hz, control power is supplied from internal main circuit without separate auxiliary power supply. Rated continuous output power is 1.5kW, the driver supports 300% short-time peak overload current to meet instant startup and impact load demand, and maximum three-phase output voltage ranges from 0 to AC230V. Built-in dedicated regenerative circuit design avoids external regenerative resistor configuration under regular loading conditions.

3. Control Features

Three switchable control modes are available via parameter setup: digital pulse position control with line driver or open-collector pulse input, analog speed/torque control via external ±10VDC voltage signal, and optional bus control by parameter configuration. Standard CN1 terminal block integrates pulse command terminals, analog command terminals and general digital I/O including servo enable, fault reset, alarm relay output, JOG control signal and positioning completion output. An onboard RS232 communication port is reserved for SigmaWin PC software connection to realize parameter editing, real-time operation monitoring and fault waveform recording. The drive supports standard incremental encoder and battery-backed absolute encoder feedback connection. Due to P customized specification, default factory parameters and partial terminal signal assignment differ from standard SGDB-15ADG general model.

4. Built-in Protection Functions

Full-range protection functions include overvoltage, overcurrent, continuous overload, overheat, encoder wire break, regenerative overvoltage, abnormal input power protection. When malfunction happens, corresponding fault codes are displayed on front digital indicator and dry-contact alarm signal is output for external host interlock protection.

5. Environmental & Mechanical Requirements

Enclosure protection rating is IP20 and must be installed inside sealed electrical cabinet to isolate water splash, heavy oil mist and conductive floating dust. Continuous working ambient temperature is between 0℃ and +55℃ with no condensation permitted; storage temperature ranges from -20℃ to +85℃. Working relative humidity is 10%~90%RH without dew formation on PCB components. Cooling mode is natural air convection without built-in cooling fan, and mounting options include DIN rail installation or fixed by cabinet screws. The product complies with CE and UL international industrial electrical safety standards.

6. Functional & Replacement Instructions

Auto inertia identification and automatic gain tuning optimize position and speed loop gain automatically to shorten on-site commissioning period; front-panel JOG inching function enables manual forward/reverse motor test without external controller connection. Integrated dynamic brake circuit achieves rapid stopping under emergency stop or sudden power loss to prevent mechanical overrun caused by inertia, and onboard memory stores historical fault logs for convenient troubleshooting. The customized P version cannot be directly replaced by standard SGDB-15ADG without full parameter rewriting, mainly used for special automation production lines, precision CNC feeding axes and customized OEM machining equipment.
