Description
1. Product Overview
SGDB-07ADM-D belongs to Yaskawa Sigma-II series AC servo driver with rated power 700W. Model breakdown: SGDB stands for Sigma-II generation servo amplifier; AD means analog speed/torque plus pulse position dual control; M supports MECHATROLINK-I bus communication; suffix D indicates factory customized special specification for dedicated OEM equipment with modified default parameters and partial I/O definition. It is designed to match corresponding 700W SGME series 200V-class servo motor. Original volume production has been discontinued, and available products in market are pre-tested refurbished spare parts for maintenance replacement of legacy automation machines.
2. Electrical Specifications
The main circuit accepts single-phase or three-phase AC200~230V input at 50/60Hz, and control power is obtained internally from main power source without independent auxiliary power supply. Rated continuous output power reaches 700W with rated continuous output current and 300% short-time peak overload current for instantaneous startup load requirement, and maximum three-phase output voltage is AC0~230V.
3. Control Features
This model integrates three available control modes switchable by parameter setting: digital pulse position control via external pulse signal, analog speed/torque control via 0~±10VDC analog voltage, and MECHATROLINK-I fieldbus command control via upper bus controller. CN1 terminal reserves both pulse input terminals and analog command terminals as standard configuration, together with common digital I/O including servo enable, fault reset, alarm output, JOG signal and positioning completion output. An onboard RS232 interface connects to SigmaWin software for parameter modification and runtime monitoring, and the unit supports standard incremental encoder and battery-type absolute encoder feedback connection. Due to suffix D customization, part of factory preset parameters and terminal signal definition differ from standard SGDB-07ADM general version.
4. Built-in Protection Functions
Comprehensive protection circuits include overvoltage, overcurrent, continuous overload, overheat, encoder disconnection, regenerative overvoltage, abnormal input power and bus communication error protection. Once fault occurs, corresponding fault codes display on front digital LED and external dry contact alarm signal outputs for host equipment interlock protection.
5. Environmental and Mechanical Requirements
Protection grade is IP20, so installation inside closed electrical cabinet is mandatory to avoid water splash, heavy oil mist and conductive floating dust. Continuous operating ambient temperature ranges from 0℃ to +55℃ with no condensation allowed, and storage temperature spans -20℃ to +85℃. Working relative humidity is controlled within 10%~90%RH without dew forming on internal circuit components. Cooling mode is natural air convection without built-in fan; the driver can be mounted by DIN rail or fixing screws inside cabinet, and the product complies with CE and UL industrial safety certification standards.
6. Core Functions and Application Notes
Equipped with auto inertia identification and automatic gain tuning function to optimize servo loop gain and shorten field debugging cycle; front panel JOG inching operation allows manual forward/reverse motor test without external controller connection. Integrated dynamic brake circuit realizes rapid motor stopping during emergency stop or unexpected power failure to prevent mechanical inertial sliding, and internal memory saves historical fault records for convenient maintenance troubleshooting. Since D suffix is customized version, direct replacement with standard SGDB-07ADM needs full parameter rewrite; it is widely applied on customized multi-axis automation equipment, precision feeding mechanism and special OEM processing machines originally equipped with this customized servo system.
