SGDB-02AM
Description
1. Model Code Definition
SGDB: Yaskawa 2nd-generation Sigma-II servo drive series (successor of SGDA Sigma-I)
02: Rated output power = 200W (0.2kW)
A: Input voltage class: AC 200~230V (single/3-phase, 50/60Hz)
M: MECHATROLINK-I fieldbus control type; motion commands delivered via dedicated MECHATROLINK bus, no analog ±10V or digital pulse command input on CN1 terminal
Matching Servomotor
2. Electrical Ratings
Power Input
Output Performance
Rated continuous output power: 200W
Rated continuous output current: 1.8Arms; peak overload capacity: 300% rated current (5.4A short-time overload)
Max three-phase output voltage: AC 0~230V
3. Control Specifications
Core Control Mode: MECHATROLINK-I Bus Command Control
Position / speed / torque commands are fully transmitted via MECHATROLINK bus from upper motion controller; standard pulse input and analog voltage command interfaces are omitted on this AM model. Cannot be directly replaced with SGDB-02AP (pulse-type) or SGDB-02AD (analog-type).
Standard Built-in Digital I/O Terminals: Servo ON enable, fault reset, alarm relay output, positioning completion signal, zero-speed detection output.
Front panel with LED display & operation keys: Supports JOG inching test, parameter checking and fault code indication; onboard RS232 port for SigmaWin software parameter upload/download and real-time operational monitoring.
Encoder Compatibility: Supports standard 2048P/R incremental encoder; optional battery backup for absolute encoder feedback.
4. Protection Functions
5. Environmental & Mechanical Data
Protection Class: IP20, indoor cabinet mounting only (prevent liquid splash, oil mist and conductive dust)
Operating ambient temperature: 0℃ ~ +55℃ (non-condensing); storage temperature: -20℃ ~ +85℃
Humidity: 10%~90%RH without condensation
Cooling method: Natural convection air cooling; install via DIN rail or cabinet screw fixation
Overall dimension: W55 × H160 × D130mm; net weight ≈ 0.75kg
Certification: CE & UL approved
6. Application & Replacement Notes
AM = exclusive MECHATROLINK bus version; invalid for non-MECHATROLINK control systems, direct substitution with AP/AD series drives causes total positioning malfunction.
Typical applications: Multi-axis synchronous automation equipment, PCB processing machines, small packaging production lines, precision assembling machinery with bus-based motion control.
