Description

1. Product Overview

SL-2H is OEM original heavy-duty terminal mounting base inside XRC controller cabinet (H=Heavy Duty), optimized for high vibration workshop welding environment. It serves as fixed carrier for RPN710-193A-6-10 terminal block and mating wiring harness plugs (S53845-2 / S83395-2-10-10). Original production discontinued; available products are pre-tested used/refurbished replacement spare parts for maintenance service.
Compared with standard SL-2B: thicker flame-retardant housing, reinforced lock buckle & copper terminal structure, enhanced anti-vibration performance for long-time robot cyclic startup & stop operation.

2. Core Functions

  1. Mechanical Fixing & Anti-loose: Secure RPN710-193A-6-10 terminal assembly and harness connectors tightly; avoid terminal offset or plug drop caused by cabinet mechanical vibration during robot running.

  2. Power & Safety Circuit Distribution: Distribute DC24V emergency stop safety loop, auxiliary power branch wiring and DC5V logic bus signals between R10092-718 transition board and external terminal wiring set, reduce wiring load of adapter board.

  3. Wire Insulation Partition: Separate high-power safety wiring and low-voltage signal cables inside cabinet, prevent short circuit from wire friction against cabinet metal shell, improve EMI resistance under strong electromagnetic welding field.

4. Common Fault Description

  1. Plastic base aging cracking or buckle fatigue → terminal loose → intermittent SERVO OFF alarm & random emergency stop fault, same failure feature as defective internal harness.

  2. Copper terminal oxidation/corrosion → unstable signal transmission → abnormal NEW02-2 analog output, welding proportional valve malfunction and robot action disorder.

  3. Deformed fixing structure → terminal block shifting → partial harness connector disconnection → unstable teach pendant communication error.

5. Installation & Replacement Safety Instruction

WARNING: Strictly prohibit hot plugging / live disassembly
  1. Cut off total AC input power of XRC controller, wait minimum 15 minutes for internal filter capacitor residual voltage full discharge before any disassembly.

  2. Mark all terminal wiring sequence and connector position with marker before removing faulty SL-2H; install new base and reset terminal block + full harness strictly follow original assembly layout.

  3. Finish all wiring restoration step by step, switch power on gradually after installation completion; test single-axis jog motion, full E-stop safety loop and peripheral I/O signal validity sequentially before formal production running.

6. Compatibility Specification

  • Compatible Rack Combination: PC-20 mainboard + N2-3 servo board + NEW02-2 analog board + R10092-718 transition board + RPN710-193A-6-10 terminal + S53845-2 / S83395-2-10-10 internal wiring harness (complete XRC standard rack assembly)

  • Incompatible: NX100, DX100, DX200 and all later-generation Motoman robot controllers.

7. Difference: SL-2H VS SL-2B

  1. SL-2H: Heavy-duty reinforced shell, thicker buckle, higher vibration resistance, used for high-frequency heavy-load welding robot cabinet;

  2. SL-2B: Standard lightweight base, regular plastic structure, applied for low-load ordinary handling XRC cabinet.
