MM01C-02
Description
1. Basic Information
2. Core Functions
Extended storage module to expand CNC memory capacity, storing extra user NC machining programs, workpiece coordinate offsets and tool compensation data beyond the storage limit of standard MM01C-01 base memory board.
Communicates with MM20 main CPU via cabinet backplane bus during machine runtime for real-time data reading and writing.
Equipped with built-in 3.6V lithium backup battery to retain all saved parameters and part programs after main power shutdown.
3. Electrical & Installation Specifications
Rated operating input: DC 5V from cabinet internal system power supply
Operating ambient temperature: 0℃ ~ +50℃; storage: -20℃ ~ +70℃, relative humidity 10%~85% non-condensing
Installation form: slot plug-in type, inserted vertically into dedicated backplane slot adjacent to MM01C-01 inside CNC electrical cabinet
Backup power: onboard replaceable 3.6V primary lithium battery for off-power data preservation
4. Common Failure Manifestations
NC programs or tool parameters disappear randomly after power off/on, mainly caused by exhausted onboard backup battery.
System triggers memory abnormal startup alarm, fails to load machining programs normally after power-up.
Unstable workpiece dimension deviation in long-cycle automatic processing resulting from poor gold finger contact or damaged internal memory chips.
5. Model Distinction
JANCD-MM01C-02: CNC extended memory board for MX2/MX3 system, paired with MM01C-01; cannot be substituted with JANCU-series robot control memory boards.
MM01C-01 = basic memory board; MM01C-02 = expansion memory board, both can be mounted simultaneously on one control cabinet.
6. Replacement & Safety Rules
Complete full backup of all machine parameters and stored NC programs before cutting off machine three-phase AC main power.
Wait minimum 15 minutes after power cut for residual cabinet voltage discharge before board disassembly.
Align board pin direction precisely during installation; never force plug-in to avoid bent backplane pins.
Restore backed-up data after installation, power on and verify full program storage and calling function.
Hot plugging under powered cabinet status is strictly forbidden to prevent permanent burnout of CPU and peripheral circuits.
