MM01C-01
Description
1. Basic Information
2. Core Functions
System program & user data storage memory board, stores CNC system firmware, machine parameter data, coordinate offset values, tool compensation data and part machining programs for MX2/MX3 control system.
Communicates with MM20 main CPU via cabinet backplane bus, reads/writes all machining runtime data during machine operation.
Equipped with backup lithium battery on-board to retain stored parameters and programs after main power cut-off; prevents total data loss when machine is powered down.
3. Electrical Specifications
Working supply: +5VDC powered from cabinet system power source
Ambient operating range: 0℃ ~ +50℃; storage temperature: -20℃ ~ +70℃, humidity 10%~85% non-condensing
Installation: Plug-in slot type, inserted vertically into the main backplane alongside MM20 CPU inside CNC control cabinet
Backup power: Built-in replaceable 3.6V lithium primary battery for data retention
4. Common Fault Phenomena
System parameters, tool offsets and stored NC programs disappear completely after power-off; battery voltage depletion is the top failure cause.
CNC boots abnormally with system alarm codes ALM01/ALM11, fails to enter main operation screen after power-on.
Random coordinate deviation, unstable machining size or sudden program loss during automatic running caused by aging onboard memory chips or PCB track oxidation.
5. Model Distinction
JANCD-MM01C-01: CNC memory board for YASNAC MX2/MX3 (direct fit for MC-760VX machining center)
Similar JANCU-series MM boards belong to servo/IO control category, cannot substitute this memory board.
6. Replacement & Maintenance Safety Rules
Complete full machine parameter backup to external storage before disassembly; cut off total 3-phase AC power of machine.
Replace onboard backup battery first if low voltage warning appears; avoid battery leakage corroding PCB circuits.
Insert replacement board strictly aligning with backplane slot direction, no forced insertion to prevent pin bending damage.
Restore all backed-up parameters after installation, power on and verify parameter retention and normal program read/write function.
