MEW02-1
Description
1. Basic Information
2. Core Functions
Special CRT high-voltage driver board inside operator panel, supplies dedicated high voltage for original CRT screen together with low-voltage auxiliary power coordinated with MEW01-1 power board.
Processes display driving signal transmitted from MCP02B-1 main control board to activate raster display of the monitor.
Built-in overvoltage protection circuit, screen fuse and surge absorption components to guard CRT tube and front-end panel circuit against instantaneous voltage surge damage.
3. Electrical Specifications
Input supply: DC24V from MEW01-1 output
Working ambient temperature: 0℃ ~ +50℃; storage temperature: -20℃ ~ +70℃, relative humidity 10%~85% non-condensing
Installation: Fixed within rear cabinet of the CRT operation panel, connected via flat ribbon cables to MEW01-1 and MCP02B-1 respectively.
4. Typical Fault Symptoms
Machine powers up normally, cabinet runs fine but CRT screen completely black; no filament glow inside monitor, most caused by blown onboard fuse or damaged high-voltage circuit on MEW02-1.
Screen dim display, flickering picture or vertical/horizontal distortion under normal cabinet power, resulting from aging electrolytic capacitors of this driver board.
Random ALM329 panel communication error triggered after startup when high-voltage leakage disturbs panel bus signal.
5. Model Distinction
JANCU-MEW02-1: CNC machine CRT driver board for YASNAC MX2/MX3 (direct fit for MC-760VX)
JANCD-MEW02-1: Yaskawa robot controller dedicated board, structurally incompatible and cannot substitute the CNC version.
6. Replacement & Safety Instructions
Cut off total 3-phase main AC power of machining center and wait at least 20 minutes for full residual voltage discharge of CRT high-voltage loop before disassembly.
Mark all connected flat cables one by one before unplugging; remove fixing screws and install replacement board in original position.
Recover all wiring per pre-marked labels, switch on machine power and verify screen brightness, full display content and all keypad functions.
Strictly forbid hot-plugging any cables under powered state; residual high voltage on MEW02-1 may cause electric shock or permanent PCB burnout.
