JZNC-TU24

JZNC-TU11 is an original rack-mounted switching power supply module produced by Yaskawa Yasnac, specially designed for high-load configuration of Yasnac LX3 and MX3 CNC control systems, compatible with JZNC-RK41 and JZNC-RK42 backplane racks same as TU07 and TU09 series power boards. This unit serves as the high-power upgraded successor of TU07 and TU09, featuring larger output capacity to support multi-axis expansion and abundant peripheral I/O modules on vertical machining centers and CNC lathes, widely applied on Okuma, Cincinnati and Matsuura old-generation CNC machine tools. It supplies full-range stabilized DC power to main CPU board JZNC-RK32, multi-group servo control boards, all rack-mounted I/O cards and external operator panels JZNC-OP15/OP16.

Description

1. Basic Overview

2. Electrical Specifications

The module accepts single-phase AC input ranging from 200V to 230V with ±10% tolerance at 50Hz or 60Hz grid frequency, rated input current up to 50A under full-load working condition. After built-in AC-DC conversion circuit, it generates standard multi-channel regulated DC outputs including ±5V for CPU core logic circuits, ±12V for encoder signal and analog servo circuits, and 24V for system bus and external signal wiring. Its total full-load rated output power is notably higher than TU07 and TU09, capable of sustaining continuous power supply for expanded six-axis or above servo layout. Onboard input fuse together with complete overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit and overheat protection circuits are integrated; the power supply automatically cuts off all DC outputs instantly once abnormal electrical faults emerge to avoid chain damage of other expensive plug-in control boards on the rack. Individual part codes such as S46006-1, S46225-1-10 and S26003-1 are marked on different production batches of TU11 circuit boards.

3. Core Functional Features

This plug-in power card converts input alternating voltage into isolated multi-group direct current and distributes power uniformly through backplane bus to every functional board inserted on RK41/RK42 baseboard. Advanced high-frequency filtering components suppress surge interference generated during frequent servo startup, rapid axis jog and heavy cutting load fluctuation, maintaining stable bus voltage in harsh workshop electromagnetic environment. Equipped with independent auxiliary power branches for different functional modules, partial channel fault will not shut down the entire system power supply, effectively improving equipment operation stability. It can work independently as the sole system power source or cooperate with TU07/TU09 as auxiliary supplementary power on ultra-large-scale multi-axis CNC equipment with heavy peripheral configuration.

4. Compatible Matching Components

It matches perfectly with JZNC-RK41 and JZNC-RK42 rack backplanes, JZNC-RK32 main CPU control board, MMI3 and MMI4 series servo axis control boards, full range of CPI-type I/O expansion modules as well as JZNC-OP15, JZNC-OP16 operator display panels of Yasnac LX3/MX3 platform. Direct physical replacement for TU07 and TU09 is available without rack modification when original lower-power power boards cannot satisfy upgraded power consumption after adding extra servo axes or external I/O devices.

5. Environmental Working Requirements

Allowable continuous operating temperature inside sealed electric cabinet falls between zero degree Celsius and fifty-five degree Celsius; long-term storage temperature after equipment power-off ranges from minus twenty degree Celsius to seventy degree Celsius. Working environment relative humidity must stay from ten percent to eighty-five percent without condensation or water dew. Installation slot position needs to keep away from dense oil mist, corrosive industrial gas, heavy accumulated dust, intense mechanical vibration and strong electromagnetic radiation from nearby welding equipment or high-power frequency converters.

6. Replacement and Installation Guidelines

Completely disconnect total cabinet main AC power and wait no less than fifteen minutes to fully release residual high voltage stored in internal large-capacity electrolytic capacitors for electric shock prevention. Mark the original slot position of faulty TU11 on backplane rack before horizontally pulling out the defective board steadily. Insert new spare JZNC-TU11 into the designated slot and ensure full tight contact between circuit board gold fingers and backplane pin terminals. After installation completion, restore main power supply, check onboard indicator status and operator panel screen lighting condition to confirm normal multi-channel DC output before formal machine trial run.

7. Regular Fault Diagnosis Guide

All panel indicators remain fully dark after power-on: verify AC200V~230V input line voltage and inspect blown onboard input fuse or damaged rectifier components inside the power circuit. Random machine shutdown or system power fault alarm during cutting operation: check aged bulging electrolytic capacitors on PCB which cause insufficient drop of 5V or 24V output voltage. Individual single control board abnormal operation while most system runs normally: troubleshoot corresponding independent auxiliary power channel breakdown on TU11. Excessive heating of the whole power board under working status: check peripheral short-circuit load or internal aging power components.

8. Safety and Supply Status Notes

High residual voltage persists inside power circuit long after complete power cutoff; non-professional personnel are forbidden to disassemble sealed internal power components arbitrarily. All maintenance and replacement work shall be completed by trained technicians familiar with Yasnac LX3 and MX3 hardware structure. Original factory formal production of JZNC-TU11 has long been discontinued, most available spare parts in current market are pre-tested second-hand or professionally refurbished circuit boards reserved for legacy CNC equipment maintenance.
