JZNC-TU09
JZNC-TU09 is an original plug-in switching power supply module manufactured by Yaskawa Yasnac, designed exclusively for Yasnac LX3 / MX3 CNC control racks and compatible with JZNC-RK41 and JZNC-RK42 backplane baseboards, serving as upgraded alternative or expanded power unit matching JZNC-TU07 series power boards. This unit supplies stable multi-channel DC working power to system main CPU board JZNC-RK32, servo control cards, I/O expansion modules and machine operation panels within the CNC rack, widely equipped on old-model Yasnac machining center and lathe CNC control cabinets.
Description
1. General Introduction
JZNC-TU09 is an original plug-in switching power supply module manufactured by Yaskawa Yasnac, designed exclusively for Yasnac LX3 / MX3 CNC control racks and compatible with JZNC-RK41 and JZNC-RK42 backplane baseboards, serving as upgraded alternative or expanded power unit matching JZNC-TU07 series power boards. This unit supplies stable multi-channel DC working power to system main CPU board JZNC-RK32, servo control cards, I/O expansion modules and machine operation panels within the CNC rack, widely equipped on old-model Yasnac machining center and lathe CNC control cabinets.
2. Electrical Parameters
It adopts single-phase AC200V±10% input power with 50Hz/60Hz frequency from cabinet main power source. After internal AC-DC conversion, it outputs regulated DC24V for peripheral signal and bus circuits, ±5V for core CPU logic circuit, ±12V for encoder signal processing and analog servo circuits. Its rated full-load output power is higher than TU07, around 15 watts to satisfy expanded multi-axis servo configuration demands. Built-in input fuse plus overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection circuits are integrated on PCB; the power supply will cut off all output instantly when overload or short fault occurs to avoid cascaded burnout of other plug-in control boards.
3. Core Functions
This rack-mounted power card converts input alternating voltage into multi-group isolated stabilized DC power and distributes power to all plug-in functional boards installed on RK41/RK42 backplane. Onboard high-frequency filter components restrain electromagnetic interference generated during servo driver startup and shutdown, stabilizing system bus voltage under frequent axis jogging and heavy-load cutting conditions. Its complete fault protection design isolates abnormal power output quickly to protect expensive main control and servo boards from damage caused by power fluctuation or circuit short. It can work as supplementary power together with TU07 on large-scale multi-axis CNC equipment for extra power load demand.
4. Compatible Matching Parts
Compatible with JZNC-RK41, JZNC-RK42 rack backplane, JZNC-RK32 main CPU control board, MMI3/MMI4 servo axis control boards, CPI series I/O interface modules, JZNC-OP15 and JZNC-OP16 operator display panels for Yasnac LX3 and MX3 CNC systems. It can directly replace JZNC-TU07 for system upgrade when original TU07 cannot meet increased power consumption after adding extra axes or peripheral I/O devices.
5. Working Environmental Conditions
Permitted continuous operating ambient temperature inside sealed electric cabinet ranges from 0℃ to 55℃; storage temperature after equipment power-off is from -20℃ to 70℃. Working environment relative humidity keeps 10%~85% without dew condensation. Installation position should avoid heavy dust, oil mist, corrosive chemical gas, severe mechanical vibration and strong electromagnetic radiation from welding machines or high-power frequency converters.
6. Installation & Replacement Steps
Fully cut off total cabinet AC input power and wait no less than 10 minutes for residual high voltage releasing from internal large-capacity capacitors to prevent electric shock risk. Mark the original slot position of TU09 on backplane rack, then pull out the faulty power board horizontally and smoothly. Insert new spare JZNC-TU09 into the corresponding vacant slot and ensure full tight contact between board gold fingers and backplane pin terminals. After installation completion, switch on main power, check system indicator lamps and operation panel display status to confirm normal power output before machine trial running.
7. Common Fault Troubleshooting
All panel indicators stay dark after power-on: inspect AC200V input circuit voltage and check blown onboard input fuse or damaged rectifier circuit components. System random shutdown or power fault alarm during operation: check aged bulging electrolytic capacitors on PCB which cause insufficient 5V or 24V output voltage. Partial single control board abnormal operation while rest system runs normally: inspect corresponding independent auxiliary power channel fault on TU09 power board.
8. Safety Instructions
High residual voltage remains inside power circuit long after total power cut, unauthorized disassembly of sealed internal power components is strictly forbidden. All maintenance and replacement work must be finished by professional technicians familiar with Yasnac LX3/MX3 hardware structure. Original factory mass production of JZNC-TU09 has been discontinued; most available spare parts on market are tested used or refurbished modules for legacy CNC equipment maintenance.
