JZNC-OP15

JZNC-OP15 is an original Yaskawa Yasnac integrated CNC operator panel specially matched with Yasnac J300 series CNC control system, commonly equipped on Seiki SL-3B and other old-model CNC lathes and small machining centers. It is a complete HMI unit integrating monochrome display screen, full-function membrane keypad and built-in driving PCB board JANCD-JSP04-1; derivative part codes include JZNC-JOP15E-4, JZNC-JOP15J-4 for different regional versions (E=European specification, J=Japanese domestic specification). This panel communicates with CNC main control board via dedicated rear multi-core signal cable to realize human-machine operation interaction.

Description

1. General Introduction

JZNC-OP15 is an original Yaskawa Yasnac integrated CNC operator panel specially matched with Yasnac J300 series CNC control system, commonly equipped on Seiki SL-3B and other old-model CNC lathes and small machining centers. It is a complete HMI unit integrating monochrome display screen, full-function membrane keypad and built-in driving PCB board JANCD-JSP04-1; derivative part codes include JZNC-JOP15E-4, JZNC-JOP15J-4 for different regional versions (E=European specification, J=Japanese domestic specification). This panel communicates with CNC main control board via dedicated rear multi-core signal cable to realize human-machine operation interaction.

2. Electrical Specifications

  • Rated power input: AC100V ±10%, 50/60Hz, supplied from machine internal control cabinet power source

  • Total rated power consumption: approx 72W under full-load operation

  • Display configuration: built-in compact monochrome green CRT display module driven by onboard JSP04-1 circuit board

  • Signal interface: dual dedicated pin connectors at rear housing for NC bus communication and power wiring

  • Net weight: around 2.4~2.6kg; overall dimension: 223mm × 200mm × 35mm

3. Front Panel Layout & Key Distribution

Left section: emergency stop mushroom button + system power ON/OFF control switches; central area: embedded CRT display window for program content, axis coordinate, system parameter and fault alarm message display; right side is full CNC functional keypad divided into 4 zones:
  1. Mode selection keys: AUTO, MDI, JOG, ZRN, DRY RUN, SINGLE BLOCK working mode switch

  2. Program edit keys: numeric input, address code (G/M/S/T), insert/delete/modify for NC program editing

  3. Manual operation keys: each axis jog direction keys, feedrate override & spindle speed adjustment knobs

  4. Auxiliary function keys: coolant control, spindle start/stop, machine lock and diagnostic shortcut keys

4. Core Functional Description

  1. NC Program Management: input, edit, store and call part machining NC programs directly through front keypad

  2. Axis Manual Control: JOG incremental movement, mechanical zero return and workpiece alignment for all feed axes

  3. Parameter Setup: view, modify and save system servo parameters, machine coordinate offset and tool compensation data

  4. Real-time Monitoring: real-time display of actual axis position, spindle running speed, servo drive status and I/O signal state on CRT screen

  5. Fault Diagnosis: automatically pop up alarm codes and failure prompts once servo, spindle or peripheral circuit malfunction occurs for troubleshooting

5. Ambient Working Conditions

  • Operating temperature range: 0℃ ~ +50℃; storage ambient temperature: -20℃ ~ +70℃

  • Working humidity: 10%~85%RH without condensation; install inside sealed operation cabinet away from cutting fluid splash, oil mist, corrosive gas and strong electromagnetic interference from high-power equipment

  • Vibration restriction: avoid continuous mechanical shock and intense vibration during machine running

6. Disassembly & Replacement Procedure

  1. Cut off total machine main power supply fully, wait minimum 5 minutes for internal CRT high-voltage capacitor complete discharge to prevent electric shock hazard

  2. Mark definition of every rear connecting cable sequentially before unplugging power and signal wiring terminals

  3. Remove surrounding fixing mounting screws and pull out JZNC-OP15 unit from embedded cabinet installation slot

  4. Mount new replacement panel into original installation position and fasten fixing screws securely

  5. Recover all wiring strictly following pre-marked terminal definition; power on machine after wiring completion and test display & all key functions before formal trial machining

7. Common Fault Troubleshooting

  1. CRT no display after power-up: check AC100V input voltage, panel internal power fuse integrity and loose solder on built-in JANCD-JSP04-1 board

  2. Individual keys no response: inspect damaged membrane switch contact or broken internal keypad wiring

  3. Entire panel out of communication with CNC host: check open circuit or poor contact of main rear communication multi-core cable

8. Safety Instructions

  • Forbid unauthorized disassembly of internal CRT high-voltage components and arbitrary modification of original internal circuit wiring; residual high voltage exists inside display module long after power cut-off

  • All internal maintenance work must be completed by professional technicians familiar with Yasnac J300 CNC system hardware structure

  • Always disconnect machine main power before any panel inspection or component replacement operation
