JZNC-OP101
JZNC-OP101 is an integrated CRT operator panel originally manufactured by Yaskawa Yasnac, specially designed for MX3 and LX3 series CNC control systems of machine tools. This unit is an all-in-one assembly combining 9-inch monochrome CRT display, membrane operation keypad and internal control drive circuit board JANCD-SP20B. It serves as the only human-machine interface between CNC main control unit and on-site operators and is widely equipped on vertical machining centers and CNC lathes matched with Yasnac MX3 and LX3 systems. No separate independent English user manual is available for this panel; all technical specifications are extracted from the official Yasnac MX3/LX3 system hardware maintenance document.
Description
1. General Description
2. Electrical Specifications
The panel takes single-phase AC100V ±10% power input with 50Hz or 60Hz frequency supplied from machine control cabinet internal power supply. The total rated power consumption under full working status is approximately 85 watts. The built-in 9-inch green-screen monochrome CRT receives dedicated display driving signals from the internal SP20B circuit board. All function buttons, mode switches and emergency stop device on the front panel adopt passive contact signal output structure, and all operation signals are transmitted to CNC mainboard through dedicated multi-core connecting cable arranged at the rear of the panel housing.
3. Front Panel Functional Layout
A red mushroom-type emergency stop button and system power start button are arranged on the left section of front panel. The middle area is reserved for the embedded CRT display window to present part programs, axis coordinate data, system parameter values and fault alarm codes. The right side consists of complete CNC operation keypad covering program editing keys, manual jog operation keys, feed and spindle override adjustment keys, M/S/T auxiliary function keys and working mode selection keys. Available working modes include automatic running mode, MDI manual data input mode, single block operation mode and dry run inspection mode.
4. Main Working Functions
This panel realizes multiple core operation functions for CNC machine equipment. Operators can input, modify and edit part processing programs directly via panel keypad, set and check system and axis relevant parameters, and monitor real-time coordinate position and running status of each feed axis on CRT screen. Under manual jog mode, every single axis can be moved step by step for workpiece alignment and mechanical origin return operation, and operators can control spindle startup and stop as well as auxiliary functions such as coolant switch. Once system or servo fault occurs, corresponding alarm information will pop up on CRT for quick troubleshooting reference.
5. Ambient Working Requirements
The allowable continuous operating ambient temperature ranges from zero degree Celsius to fifty degree Celsius, while permissible storage temperature after power cut is between minus twenty degree Celsius and seventy degree Celsius. Working environment relative humidity should maintain from ten percent to ninety percent without condensation of water vapor. Installation position must stay away from heavy oil mist, corrosive chemical gas, severe mechanical vibration and strong electromagnetic interference generated by welding equipment or high-power inverter. The panel is fixed by embedded rack installation inside machine tool operation cabinet.
6. Installation and Replacement Steps
Cut off the whole machine total AC input power completely and wait more than five minutes for residual electric charge release before disassembly work to avoid electric shock or internal component damage caused by residual voltage. Mark the corresponding definition of each wire on rear connecting cable in sequence then disconnect all signal and power wires. Remove fixing mounting screws around panel frame and pull out JZNC-OP101 from cabinet embedded installation slot smoothly. Install new replacement panel into original mounting position and lock fixing screws firmly, recover all connecting cables strictly according to previous marked wiring order without wrong connection. After wiring completion, switch on main machine power supply, verify CRT normal display and all panel buttons effective through function test before formal machine trial operation.
7. Common Troubleshooting Guidance
CRT screen keeps dark after power on: First check AC100V input power supply at rear terminal of the panel, inspect internal CRT related fuse integrity and loose display circuit connection on built-in SP20B board.
Individual operation button fails to respond after pressing: Check internal contact damage of corresponding membrane switch and open-circuit fault of relevant signal wiring.
System cannot receive operation instruction from panel entirely: Inspect breakage or poor contact of main multi-core connecting cable between OP101 panel and CNC main control cabinet.
8. Safety Precautions
Random disassembly of internal CRT high-voltage component and arbitrary modification of original internal circuit wiring of the panel are strictly prohibited, as internal CRT circuit still carries residual high voltage for a long time after power-off. All maintenance and replacement work shall be implemented by professional technicians familiar with Yasnac MX3 and LX3 CNC system structure. Always cut off total machine power supply before any internal inspection or repair of this operator panel.
