Description
1. General Introduction
JZNC-MPB02E is original Yaskawa Motoman MRC robot built-in operator playback panel, matched exclusively with MRC series robot controller system, serving as local manual operation and status indication unit installed inside robot electrical cabinet. This panel integrates physical pushbuttons, status indicator lamps, key switch and emergency stop button, to realize robot jog operation, program start-stop, system mode switching and equipment safety interlock locally without handheld teaching pendant. It communicates with main robot control board via dedicated internal flat cable, completing operation instruction upload and equipment fault status feedback between panel and host controller. No separate independent factory manual is issued for this component; all technical content is compiled from Yaskawa MRC robot maintenance official document.
2. Electrical & Ambient Technical Parameters
Rated input working power is DC24V supplied by internal robot cabinet power source, rated total working current below 0.3A under full load operation. All onboard indicator lamps adopt DC24V built-in drive circuit; contact signals of physical buttons are passive dry contact output without internal power supply on panel side.
Allowable continuous working ambient temperature ranges from 0°C to +55°C; storage ambient temperature after power-off is from -20°C to +70°C. Working relative humidity keeps 10%~90% non-condensation. Installation position must avoid heavy oil mist, corrosive gas, strong vibration and intense electromagnetic interference environment, fixed by locking screws on reserved installation slot inside robot control cabinet.
3. Front Panel Component Function Description
Emergency stop button: large red mushroom-shaped E-stop switch, cutting off robot servo enabling circuit immediately once pressed to stop all robot axis motion for safety protection; reset by clockwise twisting after emergency troubleshooting.
Green start pushbutton: triggers robot automatic program run command under auto working mode after system safety condition confirmation.
Red stop pushbutton: suspends ongoing robot running program and cuts servo output instantly during automatic or jog running status.
Key lock switch: three-position mode selection via inserted key, switching robot between manual jog mode, automatic operation mode and equipment lock maintenance mode; key can only be pulled out under locked state to prevent unauthorized mode modification.
Multiple group indicator lamps: green lamp for system power normal indication, red alarm lamp for controller fault or safety loop abnormal alert, several auxiliary indicator lamps for external peripheral equipment status feedback such as fixture clamping signal and door interlock signal.
4. Internal Connector Definition
One dedicated internal plug connector connects flat signal cable to MRC main control board, responsible for bidirectional signal transmission: operation commands from each panel button are sent to main controller, while system running status and fault signal are transmitted back to drive front panel indicator lamps. Loose plug or broken internal cable will cause button invalidation or indicator lamp abnormal non-lighting. A separate terminal row is reserved for external safety circuit wiring, mainly connecting cabinet door interlock and peripheral safety switch series loop to cooperate with emergency stop for whole equipment safety interlock control.
5. Installation & Replacement Operation Steps
Cut off total three-phase AC input power of robot control cabinet completely, wait no less than five minutes for internal capacitor residual voltage full discharge to avoid component breakdown and electric shock risk during disassembly.
Mark all terminal wiring order and cable plug corresponding position before removing connecting wires one by one, record wiring sequence for subsequent recovery reference. Unscrew panel fixing locking screws and pull out JZNC-MPB02E along installation slot direction smoothly.
Align new replacement panel with cabinet mounting notch and insert in place, fasten fixed screws tightly. Recover all connecting cables strictly following pre-marked wiring sequence without cross connection or vacant terminal misconnection. After full wiring completion, close cabinet door and switch on main power supply, execute system power-on self-check, verify each indicator lamp display matches actual equipment state, test jog operation and auto program start-stop function one by one to confirm normal working before formal robot production running.
6. Common Fault Troubleshooting
All front panel indicators keep off after power-on: firstly inspect DC24V input power supply of the panel, check internal connecting cable plug tightness and cabinet power output circuit normal status.
Single button fails to respond when pressed: check corresponding button internal contact continuity and relevant signal wire open-circuit trouble; replace invalid button if contact ablation occurs.
Emergency stop cannot reset after release: inspect safety loop external series wiring breakage or peripheral safety switch abnormal disconnection fault.
Mode cannot switch via key switch: detect key switch internal contact damage or signal line poor contact, replace key switch assembly when necessary.
7. Safety Operation Precautions
Random disassembly of onboard internal circuit, arbitrary replacement of original buttons/lamps with non-standard spare parts and unauthorized modification of internal wiring definition are strictly prohibited; improper modification will destroy safety interlock circuit and cause unexpected robot startup accident. All disassembly, replacement and maintenance works of JZNC-MPB02E must be operated by professional maintenance personnel familiar with Yaskawa MRC robot system structure. Cut off total cabinet power supply at all times during any panel maintenance operation.
