JZNC-GOP is YASKAWA original CNC machine tool operator front panel, specially matched with YASNAC i80/i82/Mori Seiki CNC controller system, fixed installation type cabinet-mounted operation unit instead of handheld teach pendant. GOP series (GOP32/GOP33/GOP34) integrates LCD display, machine mode selector switch, feed/spindle speed override handwheel, functional shortcut keys, axis jog buttons and emergency stop circuit, serving as core human-machine interface for lathe, machining center and automation special machine controlled by Yaskawa CNC system. It connects with main CPU board via internal system bus to realize program editing, manual jog operation, auto running, parameter setting and equipment fault monitoring, widely used for Mori Seiki original machine tool after-sales spare replacement. The whole panel passes industrial EMC anti-interference test and complies with CE industrial electrical safety standard.

1. Product Overview

GOP series (GOP32/GOP33/GOP34) integrates LCD display, machine mode selector switch, feed/spindle speed override handwheel, functional shortcut keys, axis jog buttons and emergency stop circuit, serving as core human-machine interface for lathe, machining center and automation special machine controlled by Yaskawa CNC system. 2.2 Machine Motion Control

  1. Mode selector switch: 3 standard working modes – MANUAL(JOG), MDI Manual Data Input, AUTO automatic running; switch interlock with system safety circuit to avoid illegal mode switching during automatic processing.

  2. Electronic handwheel (MPG): Spindle speed override + feedrate override adjustable knob, incremental jog handwheel for single-step axis fine tuning of X/Y/Z/B/C axes.

2.3 Safety & Auxiliary Logic

Red mushroom-head EMERGENCY STOP button with double-channel safety contact output; once pressed, immediately cut off spindle and servo power via system safety loop. Auxiliary shortcut keys control spindle start/stop, coolant on/off, workpiece clamp/unclamp, tool change manual trigger and machine door interlock confirmation signal. Reserved system reset, feed hold, single block execution, optional stop function keys for production process control.

    • RDY(Green): Flashing = normal bus communication with CNC main CPU; always OFF = communication failure or wiring open.

    • ERR(Red): Steady ON = internal panel circuit fault or safety loop triggered by emergency stop signal.

7. Installation & Replacement Steps

  1. Cut off total cabinet AC input power before disassembly; wait ≥10min for internal high-voltage capacitor discharge.

  2. Unfix front panel mounting screws of cabinet operation window, pull out old GOP unit, unplug rear dedicated bus connector.

  3. Align new JZNC-GOP rear connector with cabinet internal cable plug and lock firmly, fix panel mounting screws.

  4. Restore cabinet power supply, power on CNC system; complete screen backlight check, handwheel signal test and key function verification before trial machine running.

8. Common Troubleshooting

  1. All screen dark + PWR lamp off: Check cabinet DC24V output voltage and internal panel protection fuse, replace blown fuse with same specification.

  2. Display normal but all jog keys invalid: Inspect rear bus connector loose or pin oxidation, clean connector with anhydrous alcohol.

  3. Handwheel no response when rotating: Check handwheel differential signal wiring open/short circuit; replace GOP panel if peripheral wiring is intact.

  4. ERR lamp constant lighting: Confirm emergency stop button is fully reset first; check safety circuit interlock wiring when E-stop reset.
