4. Installation & Wiring

1. Mounting: Install in controller rack（DIN rail or fixed mounting）

2. Power Wiring:

   • CN324: +24VDC（pin1）, 0V（pin2）

   • Warning: Do not connect internal 24V if external power is used（risk of damage）

3. I/O Wiring:

   • Inputs: NPN（common +24V）/PNP（common 0V）

   • Outputs: Max 50mA per point; use relays for high-current loads

5. Safety Precautions

• WARNING: Heatsink may reach high temperatures during operation; wait 15 mins after power-off before handling

• NOTICE: Disconnect power before installation/ maintenance; failure may cause electric shock or equipment damage

• Grounding: Ensure proper earth grounding to prevent noise interference

6. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Check CN324 wiring and 24VDC supply; verify fuse F1/F2（1A, 250V）

• I/O Malfunction: Check connector pins for loose connections; verify NPN/PNP wiring configuration

• Communication Error: Check cable integrity; confirm controller firmware compatibility

7. Replacement & Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use dry cloth to remove dust; avoid liquid cleaners

• Replacement: Replace with identical model（JANCD-Y1021）; update controller I/O configuration
