JANCD-XSL02

JANCD-XSL02 is a dedicated conveyor tracking daughter board designed for Motoman XRC1000 and XRC2001 robot controllers. It mainly processes encoder feedback signals from production conveyor to realize real-time synchronous tracking for robot picking and arc welding tasks. This board needs to be installed and matched with JANCD-XCP02B main control board, and it belongs to discontinued obsolete product with mostly refurbished spare parts available on market.

Description

1. General Description

2. Main Functions

It receives pulse signals from conveyor incremental encoder to calculate real-time position and running speed of moving workpiece, then transmits synchronized data to main CPU so that robot can follow moving target accurately. It supports up to four independent conveyor channels for multi-station assembly line application. Two-channel analog input is integrated on PCB to collect 0-10V or 4-20mA signals for speed and tension feedback from peripheral equipment. The control cycle is controlled within 1 millisecond to guarantee high tracking precision under high-speed operating condition.

3. Technical Specifications

Rated supply power is 5VDC with typical working current around 150mA. Operating ambient temperature ranges from minus twenty degree Celsius to seventy degree Celsius, and working humidity is below eighty percent without condensation. Overall dimension is approximately 100mm by 100mm by 25mm and net weight is about 40 grams.

4. Connector Definition

One connector is reserved for external encoder wiring to receive pulse and direction signals from conveyor encoder. Another analog terminal is used for connecting analog sensor signals. Internal bus connector realizes data communication with matched XCP02B main board. Independent power terminal receives 5VDC power input from cabinet backplane.

5. Compatibility Information

This tracking card only fits XRC series control cabinets including XRC1000 and XRC2001, and it cannot be used on DX100 or DX200 robot controllers with different hardware framework. Normal matching accessory boards contain XMM01 user memory board and XMM02 system memory board to complete full tracking system configuration.

6. LED Indicator Instruction

Green PWR indicator stays on steadily when 5VDC power supply is normal. Green RDY lamp lights to confirm tracking circuit initialization finishes and system stands by for operation. Red ALM turns on once encoder wiring fault, signal loss or internal circuit breakdown happens during running.

7. Installation and Maintenance

Cut off total cabinet power supply and wait no less than five minutes for residual electricity release before installation work. Wear anti-static wristband to avoid static damage to precise components. Fix XSL02 onto reserved slot of XCP02B board and connect external encoder and analog cables sequentially. Check connector tightness and cable aging condition regularly during routine maintenance.

8. Safety and Warranty

Only certified professional maintenance technicians are allowed to perform installation and replacement operation. Disconnect power source in advance to prevent unexpected equipment damage. Original factory brand new items are no longer produced, and standard warranty for refurbished spare parts is three to six months under normal industrial working environment.
