5. Installation Steps

1. Disconnect the controller’s main power and wait ≥5 minutes for capacitor discharge.

2. Wear an anti-static wristband to prevent ESD damage to components.

3. Unplug all external cables (Ethernet, serial, power) from the old CPU board.

4. Remove the old board; align the new XCP03 with slot 0 of the backplane and insert firmly.

5. Tighten mounting screws; reconnect all cables in sequence.

6. Restore power; verify PWR ON, RUN flashing, and ALM OFF.
