Description
1. General Description
JANCD-TU02B is a terminal type I/O control board produced by Yaskawa Motoman, specially matched with XRC and ERC series robot control cabinets. It is an upgraded version of TU01 and TU02, adopting optimized circuit design for industrial field wiring of digital input, relay output and safety interlock signals. This board transfers external field signals to the main CPU board through internal bus connection to realize robot peripheral signal control.
2. Electrical Specifications
Rated working power supply is 24 VDC with allowable fluctuation range of plus and minus ten percent. Typical working current is 0.38 A, and total power consumption is less than 9 watts. Equipped with sixteen points of digital input terminals supporting NPN and PNP signal switching. Eight built-in mechanical relay output points, single channel maximum load current is 50mA under 24VDC working condition. Input circuit uses optocoupler isolation, output circuit uses relay isolation to separate cabinet internal circuit and external field circuit effectively.
3. Environmental Specification
Normal working ambient temperature ranges from zero degree Celsius to forty-five degree Celsius. Storage environment temperature is from minus ten degree Celsius to sixty degree Celsius. Working ambient humidity keeps between five percent and eighty percent relative humidity without condensation phenomenon. Anti-vibration index is less than 0.5G in the frequency range from 10Hz to 500Hz, applicable installation altitude is within 1000 meters above sea level.
4. Applicable Equipment
Compatible with Motoman XRC and ERC robot controller cabinets, matching CPU mainboard models include JANCD-CP03B and JANCD-CP04B. Widely used in spot welding, arc welding, automatic handling and automated assembly Motoman robot equipment.
5. External Interface Definition
CN1 is 50pin flat cable bus connector, used for data communication between this I/O board and cabinet CPU mainboard, including input status feedback, output instruction transmission and safety signal interaction. TB1 is multi-position screw terminal block for all on-site external wiring connection, including 24V power, zero volt common terminal, input common end, output common end, emergency stop and travel limit switch wiring terminals. CN2 is dedicated power terminal for 24VDC input of board internal logic circuit.
6. Indicator Light Description
Green PWR indicator keeps lighting when 24V power supply input is normal. Green IN01 to IN16 indicators light up respectively after corresponding external input signal is triggered. Green OUT01 to OUT08 indicators are on when corresponding internal relay pulls in and output terminal is conductive. Red ALM indicator lights continuously when communication failure or safety loop abnormal fault occurs.
7. Standard Installation Steps
Cut off the total power supply of control cabinet completely before disassembly and installation, wait no less than five minutes to release residual electric charge of internal capacitance. Wear anti-static wrist strap to avoid static electricity damage to circuit components. Fix the board into the reserved standard slot inside cabinet with four M3 screws under the tightening torque from 0.8 to 1.0 Newton meter. Complete flat cable connection between CN1 and CPU board in advance, finish all field equipment wiring on TB1 according to actual site requirement, then connect 24VDC power source to CN2 terminal. Restore cabinet power supply after all wiring finished, confirm PWR lamp is normally on and ALM alarm lamp is off.
8. Built-in Safety Protection Function
Comply with Category 3 mechanical emergency stop safety standard for industrial equipment. Configure over-current protection circuit for all input and output loops and short-circuit automatic protection function. Realize electrical isolation between internal control circuit and external field wiring. Real-time monitoring of emergency stop and limit switch loop state, output alarm signal once abnormal condition detected.
9. Daily Maintenance and Fault Elimination
Check tightness of all screw terminals on TB1 every three months to prevent poor contact caused by loose terminals. Clean surface accumulated dust with low-pressure dry compressed air once a year and check aging and looseness condition of CN1 flat cable regularly. When PWR indicator is off, check 24VDC input power and CN2 wiring status. When ALM alarm lamp is bright, troubleshoot emergency stop circuit, limit switch wiring and CN1 communication cable. If input corresponding indicator does not light after external signal access, check external equipment power supply and common terminal wiring. If output load cannot work normally, check output common terminal and peripheral load circuit.
10. Product Information and Safety Warning
