The CAN bus interface uses a 4-pin male multi-point connector, supporting a maximum transmission rate of 500 kbit/s and a maximum station-to-station distance of 1000 meters. It is equipped with object buffers in both transmit and receive directions and supports network expansion functions. The X2X Link master interface also uses a 4-pin male multi-point connector, with a maximum distance of 100 meters between two adjacent stations on the bus, realizing high-speed real-time bus communication.
For the operating environment, the working temperature ranges from 0°C to 60°C, and the storage temperature ranges from -25°C to 70°C. The applicable relative humidity is 5% to 95% non-condensing, adapting to most indoor industrial working environments. The module is fitted with dedicated status indicator LEDs. The RS232 interface has two LEDs for data sending and receiving status display, while the CAN bus interface and X2X Link interface each have one independent LED to indicate communication status, facilitating on-site personnel to carry out real-time status monitoring, debugging and routine maintenance. When deploying the 3IF797.9-1 module, two 0TB704.9 terminal blocks need to be purchased separately for signal wiring and circuit access. It is compatible with standard aPCI slots of B&R 2005 series controllers and Automation PC series industrial computers, and can work with the supporting distributed I/O system. Corresponding X2X Link bus cables, CAN bus cables and RS232 serial cables are required to complete the connection between the module and field devices.
