    • Supports Genius bus and high-speed serial communication

    • Enhanced interface with JANCD-SP series display boards

  4. Improved Alarm & Diagnostics
More detailed fault codes, real-time system monitoring and error logging; easier troubleshooting.
  5. Firmware Compatibility
Backward compatible with SR01-based systems; supports updated CNC/robot firmware versions.

4. Compatibility

Compatible With

  • YASNAC LX / MX CNC systems (all revisions)

  • Motoman ERC robot controllers (all firmware versions)

  • JANCD-SP17B / SP20 / SP21 display/interface boards

  • JANCD-SR01 (pin-to-pin compatible, direct replacement)

Incompatible With

  • XRC, NX100, DX, YRC series Motoman robot controllers

  • JANCD-SR21 / SR30 and other later CPU boards

5. Installation & Maintenance

Installation

  1. Power off the controller and wait ≥5 minutes for capacitor discharge.

  2. Wear anti-static wrist strap to avoid ESD damage.

  3. Align with the designated backplane slot, insert firmly and tighten screws.

  4. Reconnect all cables (power, communication, I/O) and power on.

Troubleshooting

  • No boot / dead board: Check +5 V power, reseat board, clean gold-plated connectors.

  • System hang-up: Verify firmware version; check for RAM/ROM failure.

  • Motion errors: Inspect servo bus cables; check axis parameter settings.

  • Communication failure: Clean backplane connectors; reseat adjacent I/O boards.

Safety Notes

  • Always power off before removal/installation.

  • Strict anti-static handling required.

  • Keep board clean, dry and away from corrosive gas/oil mist.
