JANCD-OCP02

JANCD-OCP02 is an optional control board for Yaskawa Motoman NX100 robot controllers. It is mainly used for conveyor tracking and arc seam tracking in welding applications, also serving as an auxiliary processing board for special motion control.

Description

Basic Information

  • Model: JANCD-OCP02

  • Manufacturer: Yaskawa Electric / Motoman Robotics

  • Applicable controller: NX100 series

  • Type: Optional tracking & control PCB

  • Product status: Obsolete, available as used or refurbished spare parts

  • Origin: Japan

Technical Specifications

  • Power supply: 24 VDC from the controller backplane

  • Communication interfaces: RS-232, RS-485 and dedicated signal ports for encoders and welding equipment

  • Operating temperature: 0 °C to 50 °C

  • Relative humidity: 5% to 80% (non-condensing)

  • Mounting form: Standard slot-mounted PCB inside NX100 cabinet

Key Functions

  1. Conveyor tracking: Synchronizes robot movement with running conveyors via external encoder signals for dynamic picking and processing.

  2. Arc seam tracking: Supports COMARC III welding system, realizes real-time weld seam detection and correction during welding.

  3. Auxiliary motion control: Assists the main CPU to process high-speed motion logic for complex working conditions.

  4. Signal interaction: Transmits data between sensors, welding machines and the main control system.

  5. Status indication: Equipped with onboard LEDs to display working status and fault codes.

Compatibility & Installation

  • It works with standard NX100 modules including JANCD-NCP01, JANCD-NIO01 and JANCD-NTU01.

  • Install in the dedicated expansion slot on the NX100 backplane.

  • Not compatible with NXC100, YRC1000 or DX series controllers.

  • Do not mix up with JANCD-ACP02 series, which is designed for other controller models and cannot be interchanged.

Safety & Maintenance Notes

  • Cut off all power and wait for full discharge before installation or removal.

  • Wear an ESD wristband to protect electronic components from static damage.

  • Check all signal and power connections after installation.

  • All inspection and replacement work must be completed by qualified technicians.
