JANCD-NTU01

JANCD‑NTU01 is the servo power supply sequence PCB (power-on control board) for Yaskawa Motoman NX100 robot controllers. It controls the main contactors that switch three‑phase AC power to the servo amplifiers.

Description

Basic Information

  • Model: JANCD‑NTU01 (common: ‑1, ‑2, ‑3)

  • Also known as: TU board, Power Supply Contactor Board

  • Manufacturer: Yaskawa Electric / Motoman Robotics

  • Applicable controller: NX100 series (not DX100/NXC100)

  • Function: Servo power ON/OFF sequencing & interlock control

  • Part of assembly: JZRCR‑YPU01 (Power Supply Unit)

  • Origin: Japan

Technical Specifications

  • Control voltage: 24 VDC (from controller backplane)

  • Main power: 200–220 VAC three‑phase (to servo amps)

  • Fuses:

    • 1Fu / 2Fu: 10 A / 250 V

    • 3Fu: 5 A / 125 V

  • Operating temp: 0–50 °C

  • Humidity: 5–80 % RH (non‑condensing)

  • Protection: Overcurrent, overvoltage, emergency stop interlock

Key Functions

  1. Servo power sequencing: Turns 1KM / 2KM main contactors ON/OFF in correct order.

  2. Interlock safety: Enforces E‑stop, door open, mode interlocks before enabling servo power.

  3. Contactor drive: Drives coils of high‑power servo contactors.

  4. Status monitoring: Reports power‑on status and faults to the controller CPU.

  5. Noise filtering: Works with the line filter (1Z) for clean control power.

Compatibility & Mounting

  • Controller: NX100 only (used with JANCD‑NCP01 (CPU), JANCD‑NIO01 (I/O))

  • Mounting: Installed in the YPU01 power supply unit inside NX100 cabinet

  • Variants:

    • JANCD‑NTU01‑1: Standard NX100 version

    • JANCD‑NTU01‑2 / ‑3: Revisions with component upgrades

Installation & Maintenance

  • Cut all power (AC and 24 VDC) before removal/installation.

  • Use ESD protection when handling the board.

  • Inspect fuses and contactor wiring during service.

  • Verify E‑stop and safety door interlocks after replacement.

  • Service only by qualified technicians.
